Maine is right in the middle of the Northern Hemisphere, straddling the 45th parallel. Maine’s ocean doesn’t freeze. When arctic birds go south for the winter, Maine is often their south. Who are they? Where are they? This multimedia presentation reveals the answers, and offers an inventory of exceptional places to bird in winter. Maine Birding Trail founder Bob Duchesne presents this FREE program February 10, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:00 Pm in Moore Auditorium on the Institute campus. Follow-up this evening talk with a bird walk the very next morning – February 11, 2018 at 9:00 AM. Spend two hours with Bob searching for winter birds right here in our area!
