Event Description:
$20.00 Each winter near shore wintering waterfowl can easily be spotted from the auto pull-off points. Common Loon, Guillemot, Black Duck, Eiders, Cormorants are expected sightings & other water fowl. Chance of spotting predatory birds such as Snowy Owl and Bald Eagle. Forest bird sightings also possible. Limited to 12 participants. Meet on campus at the North parking lot near Schooner Commons. Dress for weather. Bring binoculars – Spotting scopes available. Call 207-288-1356 to register. Must cancel within 14 days for a full refund. If Schoodic Institute cancels, a full refund will be issued. Please realize that space is limited and kindly let us know if you can’t keep your reservation so we can offer your spot to someone else. This program is part of the Acadia Winter Festival.
